Marketing Tops WDDA Forum Agenda | Seattle WA Replacement ...

Word-of mouth marketing and lead generation will be featured topics at the 3rd Annual Window and Door Dealers Forum, to be held this fall in conjunction with GlassBuild America in Las Vegas. Organized by the Window ?Door Dealers Alliance, the forum will feature several presentations and interactive breakout sessions.

?Measurable, successful, and cost-effective marketing is one of the most important things a company can do in today?s tough and competitive business environment,? says Chris Freeman, marketing manager at Ganahl Lumber and co-chair of WDDA?s forum committee. ?The session on word-of-mouth-marketing is just one example of the kind of cutting-edge best practices we will be spotlighting at the WDD Forum.?

With a background in the lumber and millwork business, Brian Bunt of EmptyBin.com will lead the word-of-mouth workshop. His interactive session will provide participants with a ready-to-implement campaign specifically tailored to their companies, organizers state. ?

The lead generation session features Gail?Brown of Lead Builders, who has been working with home improvement and window and door companies more than 25 years.? She will review various strategies and provide detailed tips on how to generate leads through sales promotions and public relations programs like home improvement shows, advertising, and database and internet marketing.

?At a time when all window and door companies are struggling to find new markets and new customers, a session on lead generation is a must that truly distinguishes the WDD Forum and the needs of dealers,? says Rick Jones, president of Stanek Windows and WDDA forum committee?s other co-chair.

Other sessions will feature Frank Reed, editor of Marketing Pilgrim and an internet marketing consultant will focus on capitalizing on social media marketing opportunities, and Collette Carlson, a business consultant who will focus on targeted marketing for women.

The forum also features smaller breakout sessions covering a variety of topics, including customer service, performance management, and education and training issues. In addition to proving information for dealers, the sessions are also designed provide important opportunities for networking, officials note.
